SMILE Foundation is the only Australian charity completely focused on rare childhood diseases – an area where there is a severe funding gap. Many of these diseases are degenerative, slowly eroding a child’s quality of life and reducing life expectancy.

SMILE is committed to a combination of research projects and hands-on help for families of children with rare diseases. There are many more outstanding research and relief projects ‘waiting in the wings’ for funding.
